Zinc anode 1852-Marine is specifically developed for boats used in saltwater. Zinc is the optimal material to prevent corrosion in marine environments with high salinity. This zinc anode is designed for direct installation on the hull and fits many boat types, including models from Fairline, Princess, and Sealine. Maintenance and replacement
The anode is gradually consumed when the boat is used in water and should be replaced when about half of the material is gone. If the anode is not mounted in a water environment, it will last longer. To avoid unnecessary downtime and extra shipping costs, it is recommended to purchase several anodes at once, so you always have a spare for the next replacement.
