Choose the right model

Harken Radial is available as 35 and 40 to suit different crews and sail plans. Choose 35 for medium-sized keelboats where you often fine-tune sheets and halyards. Choose 40 when the sail area is larger or you want extra reserve power during tacks, hoists, and reefing in stronger winds.

Material and design

You can choose between black aluminum for weight savings and a responsive feel in maneuvers, or chromed bronze for an extra robust construction and classic appearance. Both feature Harken’s characteristic radial-grooved drum that increases grip without damaging fibers – something that extends the life of your sheets and halyards. The composite housing makes the winch light and easy to service when mounted.

Smooth and safe handling

The self-tailing function lets you trim solo and frees up a hand when needed. Two-speed gearing provides fast line intake in low gear and plenty of power when the load increases.
