Musto BR2 Offshore 2.0 is a robust men’s sailing trouser for demanding conditions when the weather changes. The trousers are made from BR2 Performance fabric (Musto’s own waterproof and breathable material) with taped seams that prevent water from leaking in. It is a pure shell without insulation, allowing you to adjust warmth with layers underneath and providing smooth freedom of movement on board.

Durability is highest where it is needed most: seat and knees have 600D reinforcements that withstand abrasion when sitting on the rail or working on deck. The bib construction, meaning the raised front and back panel, protects chest and back from wind, rain, and spray. The design of the suspenders without plastic buckles reduces pressure points and chafing during long passages. Adjustable waist and hook-and-loop straps at the leg cuffs help you seal against boots and create a stable fit over several layers.

For functionality while sailing, the trousers have handwarmer chest pockets, a large thigh pocket with water-repellent closure, and an integrated D-ring (a fixed attachment point for, for example, a knife or small safety equipment). YKK Vislon zipper ensures smooth operation when moving between cockpit and deck. The garment is PFC-free to reduce environmental impact.

Water column

The water column is 15000 – 30000 millimeters, which means the material withstands prolonged exposure to heavy rain and tough conditions at sea. It provides reliable protection when you sail longer distances and need to stay dry.

The trousers have a two-layer construction where a durable outer fabric is combined with a waterproof, breathable membrane and a lining on the inside. This build provides comfortable feel against the skin, good weather protection, and a suitably soft feel for long days on board.

If you order a back-order item (or more than we have in stock), the usual delivery time is 5–9 working days.
