Sebago Performance Cargo are sailing shorts for those who want a pair of lightweight, durable, and moisture-repellent shorts that work just as well on deck as in the marina. The polyamide weave resists splashes and dries instantly, while the addition of elastane gives you freedom of movement as you move between winches, sheets, and mooring lines. With practical pockets at the front and two at the back, you can keep track of small essentials throughout your trip.
Material
The shorts are made of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. Polyamide provides low weight and high durability, while elastane makes the fabric flexible â perfect when you need to stretch, crouch, or step aboard.
Water-repellent/waterproof
The fabric is moisture-repellent and quick-drying, which means it effectively repels splashes and dries instantly after brief exposure. The garment is not waterproof, so in persistent rain, complement with rain protection.
Stretch
8% elastane in the weave gives a flexible feel and allows you to move freely during maneuvers and boarding.
Fit/comfort
The men’s fit is designed to sit comfortably all day without constriction, so you can focus on sailing as the weather changes.
Pockets/function
Practical pockets at the front and two at the back help you keep track of essentials like knife, tape, phone, and small spare parts.
Protection/durability
