Gill Short Cruising Boot in the color Dark Blue is a short sailing boot for those who want stable footing and good comfort when the weather turns. The low design makes it easy to step in and out of, while providing practical protection against water spray on the dock and on deck.
Grip that helps you stay steady
The outsole is razor cut for non-slip grip, which makes a difference when the cockpit sole is wet or when you move quickly during docking. In addition, the boot has a non-marking sole, so you avoid unnecessary marks on the deck.
Comfort and support in all weather
The boot is made from 100% natural rubber for watertight, durable use. Inside you get a quick-drying polyester lining and a removable, lightly cushioned insole with exceptionally good arch support â ideal when you walk a lot in the marina, stand at the helm for long periods, or work on deck.
Protection where it wears the most
Reinforcements over the heel, instep and toe provide extra protection against impacts and wear, for example when moving among fittings and lines. The padded upper with drawcord helps keep water out and provides a more comfortable feel around the leg.
Care advice for longer service life
Remove salt and dirt by rinsing the boots with fresh water. Clean the outside with a warm soap solution (without detergent) and rinse thoroughly. The inside can also be rinsed with fresh water and soap (no detergent).
Then dry well and let them dry naturally without a direct heat source. To speed up drying, you can place newspaper inside the boots. For best results: let dry for at least 48 hours and store out of direct sunlight to maintain color and flexibility.
