Safety and 50N buoyancy class

Regatta Active is a floatation suit in the 50N class – a buoyancy aid for swimmers. 50N means 50 N (Newton) in classification and indicates that the suit helps you stay afloat without the large collar. It is not intended to turn an unconscious person onto their back. The model has actual buoyancy of 80N, providing extra margin when you are working, fishing, or traveling in rough seas. Reflective details, whistle, and a D-ring at the waist for kill cord increase your visibility and safety if something should happen. The Navy/Fluorescent Yellow color combines discreet blue with fluorescent yellow that stands out well against the water.

Protection in rainy weather and tough onboard environments

The outer material in nylon with PU-coated inside and double-taped seams provides a water column of 15,000 mm – keeping rain and spray out when the weather turns rough. Reinforcements on the seat and knees in PU-coated cordura withstand wear from deck, docks, and fishing gear. The front has a two-way zipper and storm flap that create a tight seal, and the extra-long leg zippers with gusset and angled hook-and-loop closures make the suit easy to put on and take off with boots. The reflective details and the fluorescent yellow top make you more visible at dusk and in the dark.

Comfort and details that make a difference

Fleece-lined collar and warm, comfortable pockets ensure you feel good onboard hour after hour. The adjustable hood can be folded into the collar and is adapted for helmet use when required, while the neoprene cuffs on the inside of the sleeves reduce water ingress and drafts. Ventilation zippers under the arms allow you to release excess heat during activity. The waist belt and removable internal suspenders provide a stable and personal fit even when you move a lot. Chest and side pockets with protected zippers hold small items, and through-access with internal zipper lets you reach garments under the suit. On the back there is space for personal marking – practical for club, crew, or professional use.

Care: Gentle machine wash 40 °C. Do not bleach, tumble dry, dry clean, or iron.
