Castro fender covers for cylindrical fenders are a simple way to keep both fenders and hull side looking fresher at the dock, quay or when moored alongside another boat. The cover places a textile surface between the fender and the contact surface, reducing friction, squeaking, dirt and marks when the boat moves.
The covers are made from double-sided 100 % polyester fabric and are sewn with triple stitching for better durability in marine use. The fabric is designed to help prevent tears during dock contact, and the dyes resist sunlight and salts so the covers stay looking good for longer.
Choose the right size for your cylindrical fender
The right fit is important so that the fender cover sits properly and provides the intended protection. Choose the variant that matches the fender’s model and dimensions:
- NFD-1: fits Castro NFD-1, 51 centimeters x Ø18 centimeters.
- NFD-2: fits Castro NFD-2, 60 centimeters x Ø22 centimeters.
- F2: fits Castro F-2 and Polyform F2, 62 centimeters x Ø22 centimeters.
- NFD-3: fits Castro NFD-3, 71 centimeters x Ø26 centimeters.
- F3: fits Castro F-3 and Polyform F3, 75 centimeters x Ø22 centimeters.
- F5: fits Castro F-5 and Polyform F5, 77 centimeters x Ø30 centimeters.
- NFD-4: fits Castro NFD-4, 90 centimeters x Ø29 centimeters.
- F6: fits Castro F-6 and Polyform F6, 100 centimeters x Ø27 centimeters.
- F4: fits Castro F-4 and Polyform F4, 106 centimeters x Ø22 centimeters.
- F7: fits Castro F-7/A, 125 centimeters x Ø27 centimeters.
F Series and NFD Series
The F Series covers are designed for Castro Model F and corresponding Polyform models where compatibility is stated. The NFD Series is designed for Castro Model NFD and also has an ultra-strong hook-and-loop closure that helps the cover stay closed on impact, as well as reflective strips for better visibility during evening mooring and in busy harbors.
