This fender cover from 1852-Marine is made for ball fenders and fits Polyform A1, A2 and A3, as well as the corresponding NB40, NB50 and NB60. The thick stretch terry creates a soft contact surface between the fender and the boat, dock or another boat, reducing chafing, marks and friction when mooring.
When a ball fender moves against the hull in wake and wind, it can produce an annoying creaking noise. The fender cover dampens the noise and also helps keep the fender cleaner from dirt and discoloration. The material also protects against the sun’s UV rays, contributing to a longer service life for the fender.
Choose the right size
Correct fit is important so the cover stays in place and provides the right protection. Choose A1 / NB40 for ball fender 37 x Ø40 cm, A2 / NB50 for ball fender 49 x Ø46 cm or A3 / NB60 for ball fender 56 x Ø48 cm. The colour options are navy blue, black and grey.
Material and contents
The fender cover is made from 80% acrylic and 20% polyester. The cord lock closure at one end helps the cover stay in place, and the washable material makes maintenance easy after a season with salt, dirt and deposits. The package contains 1 fender cover.
