Quick Balder Y Kit 900 W is a complete package for those who want smooth, controlled anchoring with leaded braided anchor line. The windlass is designed for vertical installation and is primarily intended for internal mounting in the stern, where you want a neat installation and good access during operation.

This is included in the kit

To make installation easier, the package is supplied with a relay, auto-stop with plate, 60 A automatic circuit breaker/main switch, control panel, cabling, and wireless remote control. You only need to add battery cables.

Faster anchoring with free-fall

The automatic free-fall function helps the anchor deploy quickly, reducing the time the boat has to drift away during anchoring. If you prefer a more conventional anchor deployment, the free-fall is also easy to disengage.

Auto-stop that reduces the risk of hard stops

With the included safety stop (auto-stop), the windlass stops automatically when the anchor is up. This makes retrieval more controlled and helps you avoid unnecessary wear and stress during haul-in.

Y version: gypsy on the starboard side

This is variant Y, which means the gypsy is located to starboard of the windlass motor. The motor with gearbox is also rotatable in 45-degree steps, giving you great flexibility when adapting placement and cable routing to the boat’s spaces.
