Hoisting a mainsail on a larger yacht in strong winds can feel like a real workout, and you haven’t even started sailing yet. The winches on board are used constantly while sailing, and how fast you winch is up to you or your crew. It also takes quite a bit of muscle power when you sheet, trim, hoist, and drop sails. With an electric winch handle, you avoid all of this.

Ewincher is designed to assist you in your sailing without changing the way you sail – all maneuvers are performed directly on the handle.

Ewincher has three modes:

Fully electric: Take advantage of the high torque of 90 Nm and watch the sails almost trim themselves at the push of a button.

Manual: Of course, you can use Ewincher manually just like a regular winch handle.

Combined electric & manual: In the combined mode, you use both your own muscle power and the power of the Ewincher, making you the strongest and fastest.

With its light weight of only 2.2 kilos and ergonomic design, Ewincher becomes your new best friend on board so you can focus on what matters most – sailing. The battery often lasts a whole day or more – on a 40-foot sailing yacht, you can hoist the mainsail 3 times and tack up to 35 times on a single charge, using ONLY Ewincher as your winch handle. Should the battery run out, it recharges in just 1.5 hours directly in a 12V cigarette socket or on 220V. If you have a yacht larger than 45 feet or don’t have the opportunity to recharge, the battery is replaceable and can be purchased separately to ensure Ewincher is always ready when you need it.

Delivery time

This product is in stock and we have 3 units available. If you place your order before 12:30 (working days), your order will be dispatched from our warehouse the same day. Otherwise, it will be dispatched on the next working day.

Delivery time from our warehouse varies depending on the delivery method you choose and your location — but in general, orders are delivered within 2–4 days after dispatch.

Shipping costs

The standard shipping cost for this product is €6.49. You can choose other delivery options (such as pickup point or home delivery) which in some cases may cost a little more, but there will always be a €6.49 option.

The total cost of your chosen delivery option is always shown at checkout before you complete your order.

Returns & right of withdrawal

We offer 365 days for returns. We also make the process simple: we always include a return label in your parcel. You don’t need to fill in forms or paperwork. If you choose to use our return label, we charge €8.90 for the return postage — usually cheaper and simpler than arranging return shipping yourself. We don’t charge any other return fees.
