Power and control

Andersen 58ST delivers safe and efficient sail handling. The self-tailing design and distinctive Power Rib drum provide smooth, controlled grip without jerks, protecting lines and making both sheeting in and easing out more predictable. Stainless components and sealed bearings contribute to long service life and low friction, so you can focus on sailing instead of servicing. Electric versions have manual backup, providing security if power is limited.

Choose the right variant

All models have two manual speeds for power and speed. If you choose E1 Electric, you get electric operation with fixed speed and the motor mounted below deck – neat, protected, and quiet. If you choose Compact motor, you get stepless, fingertip speed control via push-button. Compact Above Deck is easy to install and frees up space below deck, while Compact Under Deck provides a more protected installation. All electric versions are available in 12 V and 24 V to suit the boat’s electrical system.

If you need a robust, fully manual solution, 58ST FS is an excellent choice – and it can later be upgraded to electric operation. When upgrading an existing 58ST, check the winch’s version number on the base plate for correct fit. Regardless of your choice, you get the self-tailing function that makes trimming easier for both small crews and family sailing.
