Discharge Pump Jabsco 50890-1100, 24 V, 19 l/min, 1 1/2″ (38 mm) hose

Jabsco 50890 is an electric discharge pump (diaphragm pump) developed for onboard wastewater – for example from the toilet, sink or shower – as well as for efficient discharge of the holding tank and grey water. It is built to move liquid with a capacity of 19 litres/minute, helping you clear wastewater faster and keep the system running without unnecessary stops.

How it fits into the boat’s sanitation system

The pump has 38 mm (1 1/2″) hose connections on both inlet and outlet, matching common dimensions in marine sanitation installations. It is self-priming up to 3 metres, giving you more freedom to place the pump close to the holding tank, the toilet or the grey water sump – even if you need to mount it a bit above the liquid level.

Installation that saves time

The entire pump housing is rotatable/swivel (360°), so you can aim the hose connections at the angle that suits your installation. This makes it easier to achieve neat hose runs and reduces the risk of kinks and unnecessary bends that can restrict flow.

Choose the right version: 12 V or 24 V

The pump is available in two versions with the same flow and connections – the difference is the voltage, so you choose the one that matches the boat’s electrical system:

• 12 V (50890-1000) – max 8 A, recommended fuse 10 A
• 24 V (50890-1100) – max 2.5 A

The pump is dry-run safe, which is an important practical safeguard when the system sometimes runs dry at the end of a discharge or if air enters the hose. To improve priming performance and reduce the risk of unwanted stoppages, you can install an additional non-return valve on the discharge side (accessory).
